Yes, there is a Steiner/Waldorf-inspired primary school called Raíces de Vida located near Mazunte, Oaxaca. Located in El Zapotal, just 5 minutes from Mazunte, Raíces de Vida offers Waldolf education in a natural setting on the beautiful coast of Oaxaca, Mexico. Raíces de Vida has attracted many local Mexican families, and international families from around the world including USA, Australia, South America, Europe and beyond. Raíces de Vida provides a holistic education that honors the natural rhythms of growth. It respects the physical, spiritual, intellectual, emotional and social spheres of each individual.Raices de Vida is a community school run by families together with local teachers. Our educational offering includes kindergarten, for students ages 3-7, and complete primary school from 1st to 6th grade. All classes are conducted in Spanish.
